Welcome to the UNIL eTeaching website

This website is the result of a collaboration between the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the Health Sciences e-Training (HSeT) foundation. It is designed for biology and medical students as well as professionals in the field of health sciences who are engaged in training programs provided by the University of Lausanne.

This website aims to customize content and learning activities to match the needs of students at the University of Lausanne. We support learners' experience through:

  • courses to supplement classroom lectures.
  • animations to help visualize important biological processes.
  • annotated articles with helpful tools to interpret the literature, acquire knowledge, present articles and design experimental procedure.
  • clinical case studies to familiarize the students with medical problems and acquire essential knowledge in basic and clinical medical sciences.
  • virtual microscope to explore the detailed structure of tissues & organs through high definition virtual slides and understand how structure and function are interrelated.
  • protocol-based learning to learn about vaccine/drug phase trial design and implementation.
  • quizzes to evaluate and reinforce the students' understanding of the teaching material.
